Pizza Party!

Friday evening (March 25) presented an opportunity for a little bit of mid-semester fun for the AUHP students. The gathering, which was fueled with constant access to pizza and snacks, featured a get-to-know game (with several obligatory moments of personal awkwardness), some intense Bible trivia, Blokus, The Great Dalmuti,, and the frantic-antics of repeated rounds of both Dutch Blitz and “Sardines,” all accented with the creation of a colorful drawing zoo. Resurrecting Eugenics: Should Only Healthy Children be Born?

A talk given by bioethicist Dr. Calum MacKellar, director of research for the Scottish Council on Human Bioethics in Edinburgh. 2021 AUHP Christmas Party

Recently several of the AUHP students gathered at the Nesselroade home to reflect on the fall semester and decorate some Christmas cookies. After some discussion and debating of topics like whether Orc’s have personhood and what is the proper rescue order of different types of beings from a burning building, we started to decorate Christmas cookies…just for some relaxing fun. Well, that casual mindset did not last for long.
